45 volunteers responsibly collected and disposed of 450 kg of non-biodegradable waste in Malappuram

On May 16, 2023, We @the.social.captains joined hands with the National Service Scheme (NSS) of Safa College of Arts & Science to organize a Beach CleanUp Drive at Kootayi Beach, Malappuram. This impactful initiative was carried out as part of @gooddeedsday, reinforcing our commitment to environmental conservation and community service.

With the unwavering spirit of service, 45+ dedicated volunteers gathered at Kootayi Beach to restore its natural beauty. Armed with gloves, bags, and a shared purpose, the team worked tirelessly to remove over 55 sacks of non-biodegradable waste, preventing it from further polluting our oceans and harming marine life.

This Beach CleanUp Drive was more than just a cleanup—it was a call to action. It highlighted the importance of sustainable practices, proper waste disposal, and collective responsibility in preserving our environment.
