37 volunteers created 37 paper bags to raise awareness about plastic pollution in Palakkad

On February 24, 2023, our dedicated volunteer, Ameen, successfully organized the #MyPaperBag Campaign 17.0 at PVJB School, Kolapulli, Palakkad. This initiative aimed to educate young minds about the significance of reducing plastic usage and embracing sustainable alternatives.
With the active participation of 2+ enthusiastic volunteers, the campaign engaged 35+ students in a hands-on session to create eco-friendly paper bags. This interactive approach not only fostered creativity among students but also instilled in them the importance of adopting sustainable habits in daily life.
Alongside the paper bag-making activity, an awareness session was conducted to shed light on the environmental hazards of plastic pollution. Volunteers shared insights on how small changes—like using paper bags instead of plastic ones—can lead to a significant positive impact on the planet.
The event was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on the young participants. The students not only took home the paper bags they made but also carried forward the crucial message of environmental responsibility.
A huge shoutout to Ameen and all the volunteers who made this event possible! Through initiatives like these, we continue our commitment to fostering a more sustainable future, one step at a time.
