63 volunteers renovated a hospital to foster a better atmosphere for the well-being of 100 patients in Malappuram.

As part of the Good Deeds Day initiative, the National Service Scheme (NSS) Volunteers of Safa College of Arts & Science organized a Primary Health Center (PHC) Renovation Program at Edayur Primary Health Center on April 2-3, 2022.

With the participation of 63 dedicated volunteers, the health center underwent a complete transformation. The team cleaned the premises, removed unwanted shrubs and bushes, and ensured that useful plants were properly watered and nourished with essential minerals. Non-biodegradable waste was carefully collected and disposed of responsibly, ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment.

A special effort was made to revamp the children's play area, making it safe, clean, and inviting for young visitors to the health center. Through this initiative, the volunteers not only enhanced the aesthetics of the center but also contributed to the well-being of the community.
